Time-stamped to the second
Every line marks the moment it happened, h:mm:ss, no taps required. Scroll back and feel the shape of a whole day.
Sundial turns one shared note into something alive. Every line you write, time-stamped to the second, lands softly on each other's home screen. All day long.
Fast set up. Forever to use.
One tap. No password, no email, just you.
Get a six-letter code, send it to your person.
Write your first ray to share warmth on their home screen.
On your screen, all day.
Sundial lives where you already look a hundred times a day. Tap the widget and the whole day unfolds, line by glowing line.
The brief
Sundial began with a simple ask: make distance feel smaller without adding more noise. No likes, no last-seen, no pressure to reply. Just a warm shared page that quietly fills with a day, and a sun on the home screen to remind you someone's thinking of you.
Designed & built for couples who'd rather share a sunset than a feed.
Small details, warmly engineered.
Every line marks the moment it happened, h:mm:ss, no taps required. Scroll back and feel the shape of a whole day.
At midnight your Day folds into your Solar System, a gentle archive of every day you've shared. Tomorrow opens clean.
A widget that glows with their latest rays. You feel them in your day without ever unlocking your phone.
Pair once with a six-letter Beam code. From then on it's a private channel between two phones, and only two.
Sign in with Apple, no passwords, no email harvested, no ads, nothing sold. Your words are yours.
Warm light, soft type, a little sun on every screen. Sundial is designed to feel like the best part of the afternoon.
Cut out the noise of modern communication. Join the TestFlight and start sharing your day, ray by ray.

Effective date: June 17, 2026
Sundial is a small app for two people to share a daily note: little timestamped messages that sync between your two paired phones. This policy explains, in plain language, what Sundial collects, why, and your choices. We keep it minimal on purpose.
Sundial is made by Jacob Cacheria ("we," "us"). You can reach us at sundialskeeper@yahoo.com.
We only collect what the app needs to work:
We do not collect your contacts, location, photos, browsing activity, advertising identifiers, or analytics about how you use the app. We do not show ads. We do not sell your data, ever.
Your account and notes are stored using Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore), a cloud service run by Google. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and protected by security rules so that only you and your paired partner can read your notes. Sign-in is handled by Apple.
These providers process data on our behalf:
Only you and the single partner you pair with. Notes are not visible to other users, and they are not shared with anyone outside the providers listed above (who only store the data so the app can function).
Sundial is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
If we update this policy, we'll change the "Effective date" above and post the new version here.
